I remember feeling so small

When all my wrongs were written

on the wall.

Every failure bold to see,

in that moment

I questioned me.

Through teary eyes, I searched

for my worth,

trying to remember

the promise placed on my birth.

Reaching for something to help me see

the woman God created me to be.

I tried to quiet the pain,

Listening for the truth, I could not hide.

Soft whispers rose above the noise:

“You are worthy. You are still My choice.”

God reminded me

He was there from the start.

For His word declares so perfectly

that in my weakness His strength will be.

So I lifted my head and looked above,

remembering this story is written

in love.

These broken pieces, though hard to see,

are only chapters shaping me.

As I wipe these tears, I release

this grief. Lord, strengthen my heart

and help my belief.

Do not let these moments define my view,

for pain is not permanent

when I’m led by You.

For every hurt, every test I face,

is guiding my steps

toward purpose and grace.
