When God Knocks: Revelation 3:20
A spoken word piece
When God knocks
We sleep and ignore
When the world knocks
We run and open the door
When God calls
We have no service at all
When the world calls
We have service that's unlimited and able to answer all calls
When God says come
We're tired with no energy and we stall
When the world says come
We move quickly with no hesitation at all
When God says move
We become rhythmless like we don't know how to groove.
When the world says move
We have rhythm and know how to bust out every dance move.
When God says be still and know that I am God
We try to figure out our next step and we go hard.
When the world says be still
We don't question and go along with the facade.
When God says the righteous will never be forsaken or begging for bread
We forget His words when the world is giving us unleavened bread.
I'm not looking for the world's approval
Just Gods voice saying well done my good and faithful servant
One gives you life more abundantly and never fails
One gives you false promises and a false dream that never sails.
Choose this day whom you will serve.
