A Poem

Garden of Splendor by Andrea M

Garden of splendor, garden of delight

Do you realize your marvelous might?

Power that excites the birds to sing

As butterflies glide on golden wings

Children run and jump and roll

Adorning themselves, Small hands will hold

Expressions of love in blooming bunches

As bees sip on their nectar lunches

No celebration would be complete

Without your aromatic fete

Among weeds, thistle, and thorns

You stand regally beauty worn

In shades of scarlet, gold, and blue

Inspiring in us hope anew

Garden of splendor, garden of delight

Do you realize your marvelous might?

Andrea M currently resides in a shelter for the homeless
