You Are Not a Mistake

You may have made bad choices in life. You may have been in places and have done things that are embarrassing, but you are not a mistake.

You may have been mistreated, neglected, and abused, but you are not a mistake. You may have addictions, health issues, and housing issues, but you are not a mistake.

You may have been overlooked, ignored, shunned, and disowned, but you are not a mistake. You may not be considered talented or attractive by others, but you are not a mistake.

You may not have the best education, you may have trouble reading and/or writing, but you are not a mistake. You may be financially, physically, and mentally challenged, but you are not a mistake.

You may feel lonely, scared, depressed, or angry, but you are not a mistake. You may not have a change of clothes or your shoes may not fit properly, but you are not a mistake.

You may have been laughed at when you were down. Your relatives or someone that you really trusted may have said cruel things to you or about you, but you are not a mistake.

Our Heavenly Father created all things and all things have a purpose. Nothing and no one was created by mistake.

God knew you were going to be born, and your life has already been written in his book ahead of time. Psalm 139:13-16 (NKJV) states, “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.”

You have free will. You can live however you wish. Just know that God the Father, Jesus the Son and The Holy Spirit love you. Jesus and can help you overcome any barrier or issue that is causing harm in your life. According to John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Call on Jesus for help. He is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. He is able to put you on the right path, and that path can start exactly where you are right now so that you can fulfill your God-given purpose.
